New Feature: Saving Playlists / Linking to Playlists
Added 2014-11-06 15:23:48 +0000 UTCGreetings, I've been hard at work for the past two weeks on some tech features of the site. A frequent user request has been the ability to not only save playlists but also to be able to link directly to them. I think I've finally got these features to the point that they're ready to be released into the wild. The on-site player now has a new menu bar at the bottom with 3 links: Playlists, Save and Link. It should really be quite self explanatory how it all works but for a quick overview, you would add tracks as usual and then either 'save' them as a playlist, or click 'link' to generate a URL that you can email to or bookmark or paste into whatever you wanted. Once you've got at least one saved playlist, the 'Playlists" item will let you load or delete the selected playlist. Note: The saved playlists are device independent, which means if you save a playlist on your iPhone, it won't show up on your desktop. So just create a link, email it to yourself and open it up on whatever new machine and save it again there. I hope you find this a useful addition to the site! best, Tim gm@tabletopaudio.com
