Per-Post style is ending November

Thought I'd give you guys a heads up about this before it happens. I got an email a couple of weeks ago that Patreon will be ending their per-post campaign style, and that I have until November to change my campaign to monthly instead.

This has probably been a long time coming; while Patreon says that it's Apple demanding the change, I've noticed that for a while now, every new feature Patreon offers is "For monthly campaigns only" and useful features for per-post campaigns have been phased out or have been made more difficult to use or access.

Unfortunately, this will mean that when I make the change, the prices of my tiers will have to go up to balance it somewhat. I can't raise my prices enough to break even though, as I would have to multiply all my main tiers prices by 5 to do that, and that would be ridiculous, especially for those who currently have a pledge cap at 1 post per month.

So... I'll be taking a pretty major hit to my income when I do the change. I'm expecting to lose more than half my income when I do the change. I'm not sure yet how I will handle that.

If you can't afford the new prices when they arrive later this year, I fully understand. Its important to take care of yourself first and I never want anyone to pledge more than they are comfortable with. Which is why I liked this campaign style, as you have the flexibility to pay for just one post, or more posts depending on your budget and how much you want to support me making stuff faster.

Thanks for all of your support, monetary or otherwise over the years. I've been very fortunate to end up with a fanbase that is as friendly and understanding as you all have always been. I hope to keep making things for you all for a long time to come.
