Mindwipe Island 8
Added 2023-05-18 07:00:03 +0000 UTCHere is the finale of the story. Bit nervous on if it will be satisfying since I've heard that the last couple chapters made a mess of things. At the end of this part I've also included a Q&A for any questions I thought might linger after the end and then a list of the clues I had set up. Of course, if you *need* that info to understand the story that probably means I didn't do a good enough job on making it solvable...
I'll have one last poll here to get your opinions on how I did on the two main goals of being solvable, and being entertaining. Also, feel free to comment any feedback on how I might do better the next time I attempt to do a story like this.

I came to the conclusion that since Amber wasn’t saying the right names, she said the wrong name when she said ‘Jill’. And since it was between Jill and Susan, if ‘Jill’ wasn’t what she meant to say then it was Susan who did it.

2023-05-18 17:03:10 +0000 UTCIt was mostly entertaining until Chapter 6 hit and threw everything into chaos, but these hints just never really came to be short of maybe 2. 1 is going to vary between people, 3 isn't quite there, and 4 is useless because it's just trying to learn the basic rules of the game. From there it's all altered perception nonsense. If someone can solve this, good on them, but I used to read Hardy Boys and Nancy Drew and I couldn't find anything to work with here that was concrete enough.
