0:33 Sorry, Igli, but no. The Great Depression was triggered by the Black Tuesday stock market crash in October of 1929. World War II is what ended the Great Depression so it was already over by the time Louis and Claudia arrived in Europe.

2025-12-22 03:32:24 +0000 UTCThe Great Depression started in 1929, not after WWII. There was terrible economic difficulty during the Great Depression until WWII. The ramped-up US Government spending and manufacturing for the war effort moved the US out of the depression and post-WWII was indeed the start of economic prosperity in many parts of the world.
