2025-09-18 08:10:13 +0000 UTCI'm seeing a lot of comparisons between IWTV and the Vampire Diaries franchise. IWTV is very different and touches on real world social and mental health issues. I enjoyed VD/Originals and do consider myself a fan. However, IWTV makes VD/Originals seem like a cheap shallow daytime soap opera. As far as True Blood, once again, another totally different take on vampires that does touch on real world social issues. But let's all be honest here; it's an editing nightmare with the very frequent sexual and graphic violence that is important to the plot. It's not just stuff thrown in there for decor or shock value.

2025-09-17 21:43:25 +0000 UTCI chose the Pitt because it is only about a dozen episodes (S2 isn't out yet), outstanding, accurate, and isn't like the stuff you've been reacting to lately. I kinda miss when there was less of the YA. To each their own, but I think this channel is a bit saturated with that bracket. Just an observation. IWTV is a great novel, and the movie was excellent, but I don't know about another Vampire show.

Iโm not saying to never do IWTV, Iโm just saying why not wait until one of the other vampire shows are finished.
