yall definitely gotta watch Battle Royale which is the real birth of battle royale games! Insane that this sequel is truly better than the original. I remember the theater going crazy watching this in person!

One change I will note though is that after the first games, Peeta actually had his leg amputated at the knee. Obviously the Capitol gave him a prosthetic after but that's why (in the books at least) there was more concern about him going back into the games and he was struggling physically.

Finnick is my GOAT.. that line he says in the scene where he first meets Katniss whilst eating sugar cubes, is one I wish I had come up with myself. “I haven’t dealt in anything as common as money in years.” I also love Johanna’s line after she screams at Snow in the arena. “He can’t hurt me. There is no one left that I love.” For all the action and horribleness going on in this world, my favorite part of the movie is that quiet moment on the beach between Peeta and Katniss when he gives her the medallion. It shows Katniss being vulnerable for once instead of the pissed off traumatized hornet she was forced to become and it’s a sweet moment amongst all the chaos and turmoil. And I’m hardly ever sappy like that.. so the moment seems genuine and relatable and REAL and not the farce they have been pretending (Katniss anyway, to a degree.) Always love seeing reactions to this. You guys were great, as always. Look forward to the next.

So 4 from each, and he won by 'tricking' the capital and using the arena to his advantage (kinda like Katniss). A book about him and his games comes out in March! It's called 'Sunrise on the Reaping' and people have been asking for his book for years!!
