He wants her to live the life she always wanted and grow up, instead of letting her die and become the thing she hates. I like that he doesn’t respect her decision to die. He loves her so much and would do anything for her to live, despite her wishes to die. This is why I think Damon is the better option for her. He loves her and wants her to be alive, even if she hates him for that. The kind of love is so powerful and it’s why I love damon.
