2025-02-04 00:43:05 +0000 UTCYES!!! Catching up on your TVD reactions. This marks a pivotal point in the series. This finale shook me to my core when I first watched it. I always knew Elena would become a vampire at some point but wasn't expecting it at that time or in that way. The car scene is weirdly very emotional and ridiculous at the same time. Elena is there fighting with Stefan and telling him to save Matt while she's literally drowning and wasting precious time. Also, why didn't Stefan help her unbuckle her seatbelt? And doesn't he have super speed? But Nina's acting along with the Sigur Rós song (which as an Icelander I was freaking out about!) made me cry so much 😭 I also LOVE that Stefan loves and respects Elena enough to follow her wishes and save her friend because he knows how much her friends and family mean to her. I'm sure if it was up to him he would've saved her. I also love this quote: "That's what love should be. You should love the person that makes you glad to be alive". I will ALWAYS be a Stelena shipper ❤ Damon: "You want a love that consumes you. You want passion and adventure, and even a little danger... I want you to get everything you're looking for". Elena: "When I'm with him, it just consumes me" As you know, I'm not a Delena shipper but the paralells are insane. Fun facts: The plot to turn Elena into a vampire had been in the works since the series began. Initially, it was to be used by the end of the 2nd season. Elena dies exactly the same way she did in the books but it was Katherine who caused her death, not Rebekah. The ending scene when Elena is in the hospital's morgue and wakes up in transition is very similar to the scene where Bella wakes up as a vampire at the end of Breaking Dawn Part 1. This is the highest rated episode of the series.

At the end of the day, all that matters to them is family, I see so many similarities between the Mikaelsons and the Salvatore's. I'm looking forward to S4 and especially because it brings us closer to The Originals. Great reaction as always, guys. See you next time <3

They instantly had a connection and it is so sad that damon compelled her memories away so she can have a better life.

2025-02-04 00:02:18 +0000 UTCThis final episode is so shocking because it's one plot twist after another, so Damon met Elena just before Stefan, Klaus isn't dead (and I'm very happy), Elena died but woke up in transition thanks to Meredith who had a supply of Damon's blood and cured her earlier that day, the bad part is that Alaric is dead. Season 3 no wonder it's my favorite.
