Wicked (2024) Full Length

You definitely do a movie reaction to The Wizard of Oz between now and when Part 2 comes out. If memory serves me correctly, the second act of Wicked ties the story of Wicked and The Wizard of Oz together. So we should watch it so that when Part 2 comes out, everything will make much more sense. :)

My sister told me about this book years ago and now I really regret not reading it. Did not think I would like this as much as I did but it was so good! I'd love to see Sweeney Todd on the channel as well. It's one of those movies/stories/musicals you'd never thought should merge horror and musical but it is good. 💜💚🩵

Was gonna wait until part 2 released to watch this. Since you uploaded though found that I couldn't wait. I loved it. Would love to see Little Shop of Horrors, Sweeney Todd, Moulin Rouge and Hairspray make an appearance on the channel.

Wow this is one of my favorite reactions you guys have ever done and I’m so happy you did it 🥹💚🩷. I saw it on Broadway a long time ago so it’s a little fuzzy, but I only remember one more thing from the musical that they didn’t show in this film so I’m not sure how they’re going to stretch it out into a whole other movie but I’m here for it. Cynthia was just incredible and Ariana was too. They did an amazing job embodying Elphaba and Glinda. I saw this in theaters a few weeks ago and I loved it even more watching it a second time with you guys. Thanks for this awesome reaction! 🥰🩷💚🫧🪄🧹 Oh and Jake I definitely recommend seeing it on Broadway if you ever get the chance!

Little Shop of Horrors is the only musical I truly love. I like Sweeney Todd a lot, but not so much for the music.

I saw this in theaters, and I absolutely loved it! Oh, and some behind-the-scenes trivia: In the original book "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz", the shoes were silver. The director of the movie, Victor Fleming, and the production team wanted to take advantage of the monochromatic-to-technicolor transition of Dorothy opening her front door after the house lands and walking out into Oz for the first time, so they changed the color of the shoes to red, or ruby, so the color could really pop. Also, the writer of the book "Wicked", Gregory Mcguire, came up with the name for the Wicked Witch, Elphaba, from the initials of the original book's author, L. Frank Baum. LFB, or El-Fa-Ba.

Saw this lady week! Blown away. I Ariana channeled Kristin Chenowith so good, and she was funny as shit! But Cynthia Orivo knocked it out of the park. There are so many references and Easter Eggs to the original Wizard of Oz. And The original Broadway Stars who played the leads showing up was cool. Some ppl have asked why, when you see Dorothy, The Scarecrow, The Tin Man, Toto, and The Cowardly Lion why is the lion real? I think if you get the talking animals bit you'll realize. Also I read this book and it's really dark. So it's not truly adapted. I don't think they wanted to scare ppl. I hope your happy. I hope your happy...
