2025-01-06 20:31:17 +0000 UTCA little out of order here, but one thing about the chocolate bar that Mads used to love, Raider is the older name of Twix in a lot of places outside US (Germany included, obviously). In 1991 they rebranded the bar to the name name Twix and there was a massive advertising campaign that is very famous in Germany because it took place soon after the reunification ("Raider is now Twix - nothing else has changed"). So it's common knowledge there that a Raider bar is a common candy for 1986, but not at all in 2019, when Ulrich's mom found it in the woods.

Tears for Fears is an English band, so it makes sense that they'd be popular in West Germany like in America. So far the 4 families are Kahnwald, Nielsen, Tiedemann, and Doppler. A good way to keep track of things if you're not going to look at the spoiler-free thing is to remember who belongs to which family. The casting on this show is top tier between old and young and between the families. I can't believe this show never won anything.
