2025-09-21 18:54:04 +0000 UTCFirst and foremost - Great job! Loving this series and the voice work is better than anything I've heard elsewhere! The wheels are spinning, and it's becoming clear that while this is supposed to be an outside context problem, there are elements that are entirely inside the context we know. The aliens seem to be operating under some sort of constraints, either time, resources, or political will, we haven't been given enough information to draw conclusions. The questions are forming. It they are superior why didn't they come in enough force to take the planet without any meaningful resistance? Are they resource limited, despite the superior technology i.e. energy/mass conversion, FTL travel, superior data processing? Are they trying to accomplish their goals quietly, without attracting attention perhaps from their peers or near peers in the greater cosmos? If so, who? Would it be possible to call for help? Should they call for help, or is this a Dark Forest scenario? They can kill without meaningful resistance, yet they do not. What is the cut-off/RoE for lethal force? Why were the soldiers killed without hesitation, yet the protagonists are not? I'll assume that it's more than plot-armor. ^_^ Can't wait to hear what comes next!
