End of Sketchbook & Year

I recently finished off my sketchbook in November. This sketchbook took me 6 months to complete this time around. Here are some of the last few pages for your enjoyment.

Trying to come to peace with the opossums tormenting me

Thinking of a vague idea for an apple orchard dog comic

Referencing some photos of my guineas and figs from over the summer. They are the weirdest cutest but rudest birds around. I may have ate shit a few times trying to chase them into the coop at night, before throwing my hands in the air and telling them I hope they get eaten. Only for them to be alive and well in the morning despite their rebellion.

Trying to draw the dandadan cat from memory

I saw a cute little donkey ceramic at an antique mall so I drew her a bit with other equines and donkeys

Thumbnails for a painting I never finished, the sketch on the right is cooler anyway

I worked extra hard to finish this sketchbook up so I could start a fresh new sketchbook for my trip to Japan. I will be there til the new year and hope to spend a lot of time just getting inspired and doodling when I can.

Happy Holidays and Happy New Year!

Love the gardening cat hydra!

I love the way you draw your horses, they all take on their own shapes, some look primitive and others look strait out of bojack.
