2025-10-28 07:38:06 +0000 UTCYeah this is a fairly recent format for the MLS Cup tournament. The final two qualifying teams in each conference face off in a one-game wild card game. The winner goes into the bracket as the final seed, and then the first round is best-of-three format. No draws, you either win or you donโt, and if you donโt win in regulation you go straight to pens. The Conference Final round I think is still two leg.
