yeah i think it was just because the last arc seemed to be a little rushed and some choices of certain changes and such really didnt sit well with the fandom. We can explain more of that when they get there as to not spoil but yeah. W comment as always

Episode 263 was one I was anticipating due to how hype it was, with Natsu going Dragon Force by himself for the first time, then dealing 0 damage to Mard and Devil Force (I made that term up) Gray sniping Mard out of the sky Then the next episode we just killing Igneel right before Natsu's eyes?? Both Gray and Natsu having to see their fathers die with a hole in their body, Lucy having to say goodbye to the oldest person close to her, and Erza being broken horrifically by Kyouka (something I think Mashima just brushed aside and didn't think of the implications for)... the circle of pain is now complete On another note I love that Josh picked up it's Grandeeney thanks to Porlyusica's voice. Now that you've seen Grandeeney's design (properly), I can explain that the reason Wendy's Dragon Force design is my favourite is because unlike scales, she has feathers since it represents Grandeeney more accurately Thanks for the reaction, we're officially heading into Zero and then the final season which you two luckily don't have to wait 2.5 years for like we did, so looking forward to that... a lot of people hate the final season, I thoroughly enjoyed a lot of it and think that aspects of it are peak Fairy Tail even if I draw issues with some things and think it had much more potential, but I'll let you two form your opinions for yourself when you get there. Cannot wait for the next 2 episodes. Zero's my favourite arc in the series, and also looking forward to seeing opening 21's reaction now that the arc is over

2025-06-12 04:39:09 +0000 UTCEspecially since Acnologia was originally a human with Dragon Slaying Magic whereas natural dragons utilise both magic AND physical strength, Acnologia's physical strength might fall short off other dragons (making him more reliant on magic hence he's affected by Face so much)

2025-06-12 04:29:22 +0000 UTCA non canon theory is that acnologia was extremely weakened from the face taking magic since he is so strong which is why igneel was able to take him down. However, this changed once faces were stopped and magic started coming back which allowed him to recover. Explains why acnologia waited under igneel, since he needed to. The stronger you are, the more the lack of magic would affect you.
