Yeah, it comes back to what Ul said about Make Magic having the most freedom, and once you find your style you can hone it. Ul's purple is still my favourite Ice Make

2025-05-23 05:18:26 +0000 UTCgray went from always taking the chance to sacrifice himself to in this fight saying he's not going to die but instead live for his friends. i feel like you have already noticed but losing ultear is the core reason why gray is developing so well. he had always thought that he would lose the people he loved which is whyi also think he was so harsh towards juvia, to push her away but since tartaros/gmg (ultear death) he's started accepting juvia more and more and appreciating his time with her more because of all the losses and heartbreaks he's had to endure and he doesn't want to take her for granted anymore cause he could lose her in the blink of an eye. pre gmg gray would've never thought about juvia in his struggling moments with a white background separated from all the other friends he's thinking of with a big soft smile on her face and saying his name but he is now bc he's giving this fight his all to make sure he sees juvia (and fairy tail) again. that alone makes gray's storyline in tartaros amazing and we haven't even gotten into the part with his dad, which is objectively one of the best storylines in ft. such a good arc fr
