It was only briefly mentioned once or twice, but the 12 spirits went crazy in this arc because they were tainted by the Eclipse Gate in the previous arc (hence why these versions of the spirits were called the Eclipse Zodiac Spirits). I guess the negative energy that infected the 12 spirits later infected the 13th and Spirit King, too. It's definitely the weakest arc in my opinion, but Gray's dance battle (and a few other moments) made watching it worthwhile. 😆

2025-03-27 12:28:17 +0000 UTCThinking back at it Asuka was born during the 7 year time gap where everyone was depressed. Putting aside the fact that they thought the others were dead, the Fairy Tail guild was in the worst spot financially and Macao had to disown the guild building + take loans from Twilight Ogre, it was just a bad time for them. Just adds a lot of depth to Bisca saying they mustn't borrow money from the guild in the flashback.

"It's Jude!" 😭 close enough And don't worry, 413 Days is a good Juvia episode. I say this as someone who doesn't like Juvia that much (blasphemous I know)

Done with appetizers, now time for the meat and potatos. After the next 7 stand alone filler episodes which honestly have some of my all time favorite FT episodes.
