As you noticed, the year in which the war with that general who Capricorn captured occurred, was 779, was literally 5 years ago haha Just give you a bit of a timeline... Fairy Tail is set in the year 784. A fun fact is that on Erza's tombstone (when she saw a vision of herself dying in Tower of Heaven), it said she lived from 765-784... so Erza's actually 19 years old currently :O

She gave each of her 3 keys to 1 servant each to keep them safe. Sketchy dude ran off with Capricorn though. The other servants obviously kept their word and gave Lucy the keys for Aquarius and Cancer.
