State of Chapter 24

Hey~ Good morning, good afternoon, and good evening, wherever you may be.

First thing's first, release date: Nov. 1–3, 2023

This would make it at least 11 days faster than the release of Chapter 23; it's significantly faster but not as fast as I would've hoped and also not as fast as we should be. Not to mention, a lot of miscellaneous MTWY-related stuff has been put on the back burner.

The goal is still as is: release Book 3 before the year ends, and I say we're on a great pace to make that happen. Similar to the storytelling approach that I took with Chapters 10–11 that ended Book 1, Chapters 23–25's events are all stitched together; this is what's been eating my time. What scene goes where, how do I set the flow, and how does this all add up? Once the 23rd and 24th are out of the way, it should be a cakewalk. I just have to set the remainder of the scenes for the 25th and build up on that. Plus, I have long-planned all of Chapter 25's events as well. More previews for gold tier+ will be posted in the following days.

The chapter's title, as you may know, the placeholder was "Favorite Cousin" but it suits another chapter more than this one. A lot more! This chapter's title is "Mimulus Cardinalis."

About the public release, it should've been a few days ago but working on that eats up a day considering how far we've come along, we also have to address the Android version of Book 1 because of the new save location, grammar check, and phone messaging feature that would add up to at least a day and a half, perhaps two. So I'll take a pass on that for now and do the public release of 23 at the same time as 24's exclusive. I'm saying this cause we don't really want to see any leaks right now, that will take my attention away from what I'm currently doing if ever. So please don't.
