Which should I use to display Hikari's despair in Chapter 22? I can't decide which is better. As to why she reacts that way, she might have heard rather shocking news.
Note: That's Kanji for "despair," and as always, there's a non-Japanese version of it.
State of the Latest Chapter
Soooo, I know you are all expecting a release by now, and we are way behind, but it's not ready yet so I'm here to give an update. MTWY's cast is vast, we know that and it's still expanding, not just for the sake of it of course, always quality over quantity. As stated in the previous posts, certain parental figures are to appear or re-appear in this chapter to provide a more in-depth view of our main characters. Couple that with balancing screentime and progression towards characters to make sure no one fades into view and maintain their relevance to one another made this a HUGE chapter. The biggest chapter there is, and again it's not for the sake of making it bigger than the last but more on telling what needs to be told in said chapter. I do try to make it as brief as possible.
TL;DR: Big big big cast, big big big chapter, give me a few more days.
State of my GPU
As some of you may have read in Discord, I had free time to grind development on MTWY the past few days, but one of those days was eaten up by my GPU finally giving out. I had to troubleshoot for about 8 hours but at least I got my PC working still and limping on a backup GPU. A patron offered to send me a GPU and I accepted. It should arrive on July 10th but chapter 22 should be up before then.
