Update 0.45.1

IMPORTANT:

I wanted to apologize for the delay with this month's build. It might have been silly of me to toss a couple of new locations and three new enemies with restrained attacks in one update. I was trying my best to finish it before the end of the month, but as you can see I unfortunately failed. 

I will send a link with the update to everyone who pledged in June. 

I'm considering changing the release date from the end of the month to the beginning of the month just to avoid such situations in the future, so people who stop pledging during a certain month can still have access to the build from that month. I'll let you know what I decided in a couple of days. 

I really hope you will enjoy the new update.

I'm stuck, I went to one of the new areas after reaching all new content and I can't get out, it says head towards the village, but the button does nothing and can't open the map

well yer because no two artists will ever have identical styles and may i add it is very hurtful to Keep comparing them like this the new artist is a person as well if you have actual constructive critism other than trying to say you think the new artist is worse than the old one then give it other wise leave the new artist alone be thankful they are willing to do the work so you actually have sprites to look at.

Hyao did warn us that when new areas get added the amount of content will seem less since work has to go in to new backgrounds and dialogue introducing you to the area and teaching you any new things that you need to know but also remember hyao has to code in every new thing as well as write the new stuff plus every guest writers stuff has to be coded in so yer it may not seem like much but it takes a lot of time and a lot of work and hyao does have a life they need to live as well, add to that the fact that the tao story line has had less upates than the orc/northcrest one so it is nice to see some love for tao's story.

Keep at it and you'll be able to get it clear. I presume a high strength and resting when tired will help, and it does take awhile!

I was also a bit underwhelmed by the new style honestly because I thought the characters look less like the old style so it takes me out a bit. Also with the bears faces.. something is off idk :(

clear the underground path to the island , free the trapped ratikin , go to tao between 6 and 12 am only works if you freed tao

Ngl, it sounds like there's a lot of content in this update but it's just 3 enemies with a top/bottom outcome? And a bunch of dialogue? It doesn't feel like a lot, especially for the support behind this game. Kinda wish there was more substantial development, and not so many half finished WIP areas in every part of the game (the Caves, the Werewolves, Northtown, the Brothel, the Orcs, it goes on). I've been playing since like 0.15 and it's fun. Just wish there was more substantial content each month?

It feels like something with the linework from the new artist makes things look a bit more low-res and lower quality than the old art :( And from just looking at the artist twitter it looks like he can make art that matches the style better, so shouldn't be a problem with his skillset. Feels like there's too much thin black lines now. Otherwise looks like a pretty nice update even tho I'd prefer more story for the already existing areas.

I think maybe I need to clear the path from the junkyard underground? But all it ever says is "you managed to clear the path a little bit, but there's still a lot of work ahead of you"

I'm stuck on the Tao event. I have freed him and he said to meet him between 6 and 12 so we can go to the island, but when I go to him, nothing happens. I don't know if I've missed something but how do I get from Junkyard to the island?

Are you supposed to take the 'ursa' back home? He just disappeared en route and is now gone.
