I'd recommend making 3 outfits for both sims:
For the female, one with the hat and scarf, one with ONLY the hat, and one with nothing.
For the Male, One with the hat and scarf, one with ONLY the scarf, and one with nothing. Then during posing, use MCCC Dresser to change their outfits!
Some clipping will occur.
