Transition to Password Protected Release

As communicated earlier in the insider Discord channel, we’ve been exploring new methods of releasing early-access chapters while also finding ways to drive more traffic back to the site. After much testing, this password-protected approach is the solution we’ve decided on.
This update has been a long time coming. We had to overcome several bugs and compatibility issues, but now that most of them have been resolved, we’re finally ready to roll this out more broadly.
Currently, both Project Yuri and Project Necro are already using password protection. For Project GB, however, things are a little more complex, since it involves multiple publishers and translators working together. Because of that, we’re moving more carefully and discussing with the team how best to transition. This means that some series will switch over sooner than others.
In the meantime, newly subscribed patrons will continue to receive access via Google Drive folders. Once the transition is complete, however, Google Drive access will only be available to VIP-tier patrons and above. All new patrons moving forward will instead receive access through the password-protected Excel sheet.
