In my opinion, FANCY marks a real turning point in K-pop.
Before this, a lot of MVs (especially from TWICE) leaned heavily into "cutesy" concepts. Fancy introduced something new: a more elegant, mature, and subtly hot style that helped pave the way for groups like aespa, LE SSERAFIM, IVE, and even TWICE’s current era.
