Added 2024-08-26 21:42:17 +0000 UTCI am always a fan of the fantasy genre, and despite most of my works leaning more into the sci-fi/cyberpunk genre, here and there I want to work on some fantasy styled renders.
One thing I really wanted to merge is those two genre's, the right amount of sci-fi & fantasy, an example of this is the SCP (Secure Contain Protect) genre/stories, it melds the lovecraftian horror of myth/monsters & the foundation's sci-fi themes.
The point I'm getting into is that I want to someday include those themes onto the game, especially in the world of cyberpunk, where the supernatural is often dismissed as nothing more than a glitch in the code.
A cool plug into this is the tin-foil hat controversy that CERN's particle accelerator can open a gate to another dimension, "hell" for one.
But maybe in the future, for now I have to finish up the foundation and structure of the game, in which I want to not just be a showcase to my art but to tell stories.

Ohhh interesting, i'd def look more into this franchise. I missed playing table tops with my friends, we understand that nowadays we are all too busy with each of our own lives.

2024-09-07 15:26:38 +0000 UTCThere's a TTRPG but it got turned into some PC games with a very pixel-art style. The TTRPG is 'tame' but has a fantasy/sci-fi blend to it. And I'm a nerd and loved it's slightly odd dice-rolling convention.

2024-09-04 20:00:21 +0000 UTCOh, I haven't but based on a simple search I did it looks to be a table top rpg, the graphics and the lore involved looks to be a blend of sci-fi and fantasy. Cyber-Elves etc. I need to look more into it and maybe play the game on steam. Thank you for sharing it to me.
