Indefinite Pause (I’m Sorry)
Added 2024-03-16 16:48:11 +0000 UTCI apologize for this, but I’m going to have to stop writing for a while, hence why the patreon is closed. I won’t get too into the whys and wherefores, both out of reluctance to disclose my personal situation and the fact that for y’all’s purposes it doesn’t really matter. Suffice it to say that my finances and living situation have reached the point where it’s necessary for me to give up my free time, and thus writing, until I’ve sorted my life out.
Why close down the patreon if I’m in need of money? Well, I’m not that badly indisposed - I’m in no danger of anything save for indignity, if I’m being perfectly honest - and I have my pride. Y’all give me your dollars in exchange for my writing, and I’m not gonna break that agreement. It’ll just be a bit of time before I can resume it.
To be clear, this isn’t in any way a forever thing - I’d go insane if I stopped writing entirely - but if things go as I anticipate, I’ll be absent for at least three months. Hopefully no longer, but we’ll see where the dice fall. With luck, everything will work out and I’ll be back better than ever after this period.
I’ll continue to trickle posts down over the next few weeks every Saturday, so you’ll still keep getting stuff if you’re in the lower tiers for the next little while, and I will still be able and willing to answer any questions you have; just message me on here, Discord, or anywhere else on the internet.
