(1.14 week 6) The club scene

Hey guys! I’m currently writing the final major scene from the 1.14 update.

It’s so hard to talk about writing without dropping big spoilers, but, this scene is the heroine’s first shift as a topless barmaid at the Hard Cock Cafe.

I was hoping to finish it this week – but it needs more work.

Making it sexy has been unexpectedly challenging. You’d think the scene where the heroine strips down to a thong and heels and serves drinks would basically write itself… but the first pass came out feeling kind of flat.

The problem is that I was trying to rush it, get it done. I need a bit more writing time to bring out the sexiness. (And adding in some opportunities for you to characterise the heroine through dialogue and decision choices; this scene feels too linear right now.)

I’m feeling really good about it: I know exactly what I need to do to make it hot now, and I feel like this scene’s going to come out much sexier than I’d originally expected. Sometimes the obstacle is the way.

I’ll get straight back onto it tomorrow morning, and report back next week. Have a lovely Sunday afternoon, everyone, and I hope to have good news to report in seven days. :-)
