Call Me, Maybe?

18th August 2025:

• Fixed: Block now shows correctly in the Relationship Panel (persistent if blocked; otherwise, it shows Unblock or Send Number).

• Added: Contact management from the phone (Social menu)—send, block, or unblock en masse, with no rejection chance.

• New: Blocked Sims may email, if they're tenacious, to ask why they've been blocked. Don't worry—you can block their emails too!

• Updated: Sims can still Exchange Numbers in person (with risk of rejection).

• New: Revoke Number mean interaction with trait-based outcomes.

Hey everyone!

Tired of random NPCs blowing up your Sim’s phone like they’re starring in a telenovela? Same. That’s why I created Call Me, Maybe? — a mod that finally puts your Sim in charge of who can call, text, or email them.

📱 What it does:

• Sims must exchange numbers before NPCs can call or text (Grim + Wrong Number calls still slip through).

• No more endless calls from old flings, one-time acquaintances, or that guy from GeekCon three weeks ago.

• Block/Unblock: Cut off unwanted Sims anytime — blocked Sims can’t call or text, and now it shows properly in the Relationship Panel.

• Phone Management: Under the Social phone menu, Sims can send, block, or unblock numbers in bulk with zero rejection chance.

• Emails: Some tenacious Sims may email to ask why they’ve been blocked… but don’t worry, you can block those too.

• Exchange Numbers: Friendly interaction with rejection risk, plus the romantic “Exchange Numbers” (Get Together) counts too.

• Revoke Number: A new mean interaction with different trait-based outcomes.

• Bosses can still contact your Sim about work, and drama calls (like crushes or social events) only trigger if the Sims have exchanged numbers.

With these changes, your Sims finally have real control over their social lives — less spam, more storytelling, and just the right amount of drama.
