Dimitri set

I'm so proud of myself for finally finishing this cosplay!! I've made smaller pieces of armor before, but not a full set before. It took me a looooong time haha. Anyone who knows me well enough, knows that Dimitri from Fire Emblem: Three Houses is my favorite video game character, and I collect merch of him and even met his English voice actor (:

After shooting this look with Instant Tofu Photography, I realized that we forgot to take photos of the back of my cosplay! OF COURSE I spent a million years on the capes and they barely even showed up in photos 😂 You can see what it looked like here:

I know it's not the craziest cosplay ever, but this project took so much work and time, and ended up having to buy a lot to make this 😅 I made the foam armor myself using some of the patterns from SEME Cosplay, while the lance was 3D printed for me by my friend at Infinity 3D Cosplay and then painted by me. The double-sided blue and black cape, and the black and white patch fur cape were made by me (with assistance from my friend toastfoxes) ♥

The fabric was SO HARD to work (super slippery and heavy) with if you didn't have a helping hand, and she's much more knowledgeable with fabrics than I am (': I'm more of a foam crafting person haha. Also, fun fact but I couldn't find affordable but nice quality plain long white fur in any fabric shop, so I ended up using a faux fur rug from JYSK lmao. I definitely want to shoot this again sometime!
