So I got to take advantage of the nice weather and traveled with my photographer friend Alex Rose to this forest. After walking for a few minutes you reach this beautiful waterfall! It was my first time going there, and thankfully there were barely any other people there 😅

I thought the area was the perfect setting for "The Stone World" from the anime Dr. Stone where Kohaku is from!

Had to take a bunch of selfies while I was there of course LOL.

I'm REALLY happy with the way the cosplay turned out (besides my wig spikes starting to droop)! I'm not the greatest at sewing, but I think the dress turned out pretty darn good, along with the shield, daggers, choker, and belt I made. Kohaku was the first cosplay I managed to finish making during the pandemic due to all the lockdowns. I just wore random platform shoes that I might get edited to look more accurate, and OH NO I forgot to remove my red nail polish 😬 I can try to get that edited out, and well as the shield backpack that is upside down here too OOPS. I swear something always goes wrong in every shoot lmao.

It was actually not easy shooting this 😅 I had to walk onto the jagged wet slippery rocks in platform shoes without slipping and dying. I also had to climb onto bigger rocks and try to balance while posing in these shoes without falling onto the other rocks and getting injured. The things we do for cosplay!

My roommate Mikki (Baeged Cosplays) was nice enough to come assist with the shoot, and her and Alex had to also trek through the streams and rocks. The platforms on my shoes actually broke off towards the end of my shoot while on the rocks, so I had to pose with just the top part of my shoes on my feet (':

I'm so excited for you guys to see the final photos! Alex is still editing them, but the set should be ready for you guys within a few days (: Hope you enjoyed seeing some BTS of this shoot!
