2024年振り返り

いつも見に来てくださりありがとうございます♪

今回は今年ももう終わるとのことで、主に活動しているXについて振り返ろうと思います。

この投稿のスクショが一年分のLionのXアカウントの全てです。

年間でインプレッション1130万、いいね87万ほどでした。

数にしてみると実感できないくらいの数ですね、いつもありがとうございます♡

今年何気に嬉しかったのは、8～9月あたりから注目を集められたおかげで多くの方に見てもらてすごく楽しかったこと、それに加えて広告収益の配分基準である、３か月で500万インプレッションを達成するレベルで注目してもらえたことにも達成感を覚えました。

しかしこの広告収益の配分基準が３か月で500万インプレッションを獲得するというのは、2023年３月に活動を始めたLionにとって、6月ごろに発表されたこれには高い壁だと感じていました。

実際活動を始めた次の月、2023年４月にはありがたいことに多くの注目を集めたためこの月は一か月250万インプレッションでこの水準を維持すれば達成できていたことが分かります。

しかし現実は甘くなく、その次の月から伸びは鈍化し続け、３桁万どころかピーク時の5分の１すらいかないような低迷の時期がそこからこの2024年の6月ごろまで続いていました。

4月になぜ伸びたのか、Lion自身正直わからずやり方は変えていなかったので、たどり着いてみたいとさえ思いもしませんでした。

ただ今年の8～9月以降たくさんの反応をいただけたことでなんとか維持すれば達成できそうな希望が見え、厳選し少し修正したうえで出すことにより無事達成できました。

達成し配分が振り込まれたのも11月の真ん中くらいで、実は11月からＸの広告収益の配分の条件が大きく変わっていたので、いつかたどり着けたらな～と思っていたものにこのギリギリの段階で達成できて経験としてはよかったなと思ってます。

配分についてLionの場合、活動を始めた初期の分のインプレッションから算出して出されていました。去年のデータがないので分かりませんが、累計2000万近くはあったと思います。

実際の配布額について、噂に聞いたところぎりぎり達成する人はほんとにお小遣いと聞いていたので期待はしてませんでしたが、少なくとも一年半分の物なのでどうなるか～と思っていたところ、実に２～３回食事にいけるくらいでした（笑）。

もちろん全然、一年前からの高い壁を達成できるような魅力的なイラストを皆さんに届けられるようになったということの方が余裕で嬉しいので問題ありません♪

今後の理想としての目標は、始めた超初期にたまたま伸びてしまった一か月の250万インプレッションという数値を自身の努力で超えることです。

当時は見様見真似で、自分自身が見る側のユーザーだったら最低限どういったものがいいかということだけを最低限念頭に置き、やりくりしていました。

ただ、今ではAIの性能もすっかり進化し、できる表現も増え、二次キャラを使わずとも日々万バズをたたき出す猛者もたくさんいるほどです。

自身がしたい表現は何なのか、見る人にどうしたら届けられるか、を中心に考え技量を高めていきたいなと思います。

ただこの目標は正直自身の自己満でしかないといえばそうなので、普通に来年の目標はこれからも今までのこのAIイラスト活動を続け、自身も楽しみながら皆さんにも楽しんでいただけるようなイラストを届けていくことです。

ということで、珍しい振り返りのお時間でした♪

As this year is almost over, I thought I'd take a look back at X, which is my main activity.

We had about 11.3 million impressions and 870,000 likes during the year.

That's a lot of numbers that I can't even begin to realize, thank you for all of your support ♡.

What made me happy this year was the fact that I was able to get a lot of attention around August and September, which made it very enjoyable to be seen by many people. In addition, I also felt a sense of accomplishment in getting attention at the level of achieving 5 million impressions in three months, which is the standard for allocating ad revenue.

However, I felt that the criteria for the distribution of advertising revenue of 5 million impressions in three months, which was announced around June, was a high hurdle for Lion, which began its activities in March 2023.

In fact, the next month of activity, April 2023, thankfully attracted a lot of attention, so we know that if we had maintained this level at 2.5 million impressions per month, we would have achieved it.

The reality, however, was not so sweet, and from the following month, growth continued to slow down to not even one-fifth of its peak, let alone triple-digit million impressions, until around June of 2024.

I honestly don't know why it grew in April, and I didn't even want to try to get there because I didn't change my ways.

However, after receiving a lot of responses from August and September of this year, I had a glimmer of hope that I could achieve this goal if I could maintain it, and after careful selection and a few modifications, I was able to successfully achieve it by submitting it.

The distribution of the allotment was made in the middle of November. In fact, the conditions for the distribution of X advertising revenue had changed significantly since November, so I am glad that I was able to achieve what I had hoped to reach someday at this very last minute.

In the case of Lion, the distribution was calculated based on impressions from the early days of the activity. I don't have last year's data, but I think the total was close to 20 million.

I didn't have high expectations for the actual distribution amount, as I had heard rumors that it was really pocket money for those who just barely achieved it, but I was wondering what would happen since it was at least half a year's worth of stuff, and it was really enough to go out to eat 2 or 3 times (laughs).

Of course, not at all, it is not a problem, because I am more than happy to say that I am now able to deliver to you attractive illustrations that can achieve the high barriers from a year ago, so I am more than happy...

My ideal goal for the future is to exceed the figure of 2.5 million impressions in a month, which I happened to have achieved in the very early days of my career, through my own efforts.

At that time, I was just following the example of others, and at least keeping in mind what I would like to see if I were the user on the viewing side myself.

Nowadays, however, the performance of AI has completely evolved, and the number of possible expressions has increased to the point that there are many people who can generate 10,000,000 hits every day without using a secondary character.

I would like to improve my skills by focusing on what kind of expression I want to use and how I can deliver it to the viewer.

I would like to continue my AI illustration activities, and I would like to create illustrations that I enjoy and that you can enjoy as well.

So, this is a rare time for me to look back.
