Preview/Update 30/11/21

Okay! Update time! I hope y’all had a good thanksgiving and have recovered from your turkey comas. Take a gander at the new self insert chapter.

The new chapter will be done in the next couple days. I’ll upload an unedited draft the second it is, then post the proper one once I’m done pestering Rice and OG about it. I swear to god it’s almost done, just one more scene and it’ll be done… but it’s a big scene and it’s a rollercoaster ride of emotions and aaaaaaaaaaaa why do I do this to myself!? Ahem. I’ll also post the polls for the next Dark chapter as soon as I get home. I still can’t make polls on the goddamned mobile app, and it drives me nuts. I’d once again like to thank y’all for bearing with me on this. Fucking Christmas time in the Hospitality industry… I swear to god it’s all a conspiracy to finally just kill me lol.

As I’m sure you can all tell, I’m back to work. I’m already planning my next time off. I’m thinking a week around my birthday in May sounds nice. Gotta rock that self care, I’m not getting any younger.

I was planning on finally sitting down to play Batman Arkham City over my time off. I even got as far as installing it and everything. But, alas, ‘twas not to be. I spent all my time off either painting, sleeping or writing.

I regret nothing.

Speaking of painting, I just challenged my mate to paint a full 1000 point Age of Sigmar army up to battle-ready quality by the end of December. Both of us started from scratch and have til the 31st. Not for any reason, mind you; he just works best with a deadline. I have gone out of my way to fill my army with big-ass monsters and small elite squads so I have less to paint. I’ve decided on an OG Warhammer Fantasy Dark Elf style army, complete with sorceress and a general on a black dragon (because they were always mainstays in the original army and because the sorceress is unf). It’s probably gonna play like ass, but that’s not the point. The point is to have a thing to make me feel guilty about not doing while I’m writing. XD

Also, Advance Wars on the Switch was delayed and sad Ben is sad. I was looking forward to that. Buuuuuuut I’m also broke, so, silver lining I guess.
