Preview/Update 5/10/21

How we all doing? I’m good, thanks for asking.

I’m hoping to put the finishing touches on the next self insert chapter after work tonight. I’ve got all the pieces, just gotta put them together. Dark is already underway, too, as you can see from the preview. I actually did the smart thing for once and started working on it while I was waiting for Rice and OG’s notes. So, maybe something will be on time for a change!

Seriously, OG has been an absolute world-building godsend. Just like when I hired Rice and the quality immediately shot up, I’m noticing a distinct increase in quality after bringing OG on as well. Y’all got a metallover holy trinity, now! XD

Been watching a lot of anime again lately, while I was convalescing. I remembered I actually have a Crunchyroll sub, so I’ve been kinda binging. I watched all of Monster Girl Doctor last night, and I gotta admit, the series is far more palatable than the books. I also rewatched all of the first season of How Not to Summon a Demon Lord, so I’m going into season two with it fresh in my mind. It’s isekai harem trash, but at least it’s upfront about it. And Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid got a second season, too… ugh. I’m so far behind on everything.

I also finally got a bunch of rare Warhammer recasts I ordered at the start of the year. Finally. So they’re my current project. Fortunately, the handgunners are a simple paint scheme (they’re just the Empire Nuln Ironsides, if anyone’s curious), but the swordsmen, the Mannan’s Blades, are suuuuuuuper detailed and complicated. And there’s thirteen of the little fuckers. RIP. I still haven’t even finished painting all of Cursed City yet…

Ah, first world problems, am I right?
