So. News from the doctor regarding my hand, for those that arenโt on Discord and subject to my constant complaining: I broke my finger. Yup. Iโve also bruised the majority of the rest of the fingers on that hand, too, but fortunately only one is broken.
However! Iโm still committed to getting Dark done this month. Iโll do my best with regular Self Insert, too, but it may run over into May. May might just end up being a catch up month at this rate...
unfortunately, I can only type for about ten minutes at a time before I have to take a half an hour break to rest my hand. Itโs really quite painful, even through the painkillers I rock for my back. So thatโs saying something. But! I will endure! For my art, I shall suffer!
Iโm still salty I canโt paint my Cursed City minis because of this. Theyโre taunting me, waiting for me, begging me to paint them...
Iโve also done something I really should have done two years ago before I started writing Dark, and Iโve watched Lawrence of Arabia. Iโm also committed to watching it again while Iโm not flying high on extra painkillers lol. But it really made me stop and think about my characters and world building. Itโs given me ideas.
Now, Iโm gonna wrap up this rambling mess of an update, because I gotta be up hella early to go find a car battery. Thank you all for your continued support and for bearing with all the delays this month. Nagaspeed, friends!
