Preview/Update 28/3/21

Morning, all! Ha ha! It’s finally here! The great showdown! Lundgren vs Lyn! Soon!

Ahem. So, the Blazing Trinity draft is very nearly done. I just need to get one more scene squared away and then Rice gets another rush order. I also just realised that I totally forgot to post the polls for Dark next month. I’ll do that as soon as I get off work. Everything else is just kinda... yeah.

I will admit, I’ve developed quite the mental block about Blazing Trinity. I don’t know what happened, honestly. I still love Blazing Blade, and I still want to write the adaptation, but I find I just... can’t. Like, the resistance I’ve got in my mind to working on this chapter has been causing me literal physical pain. So, I’m gonna finish this chapter, do a little epilogue, and then I’m gonna take an extended break from it to do some other stuff. I think I need some distance, and that interest poll was pretty clear about people being more interested in the Self Insert when it comes to my work. So. Yeah. Break from Blazing Trinity. Maybe I’ll use the break to actually finish Future’s End? Lol. Not likely.

So, it has occurred to me that Golden Sun, one of my favorite games of all time, is turning 20 years old this year. So, in between bouts of feeling incredibly old because this game is older than both my mate’s kids put together, I’ve decided to replay the GBA games in the series. And fuck the nostalgia is powerful lol. I love everything about it. I even broke out the old GBA to get the full experience. It feels so small in my hands now. I’ll probably talk more about it in the vlog, too.

Not really much else going on for me right now. My brother and I finally played our first game of Middle Earth Strategy Battles (LotR Warhammer) and we’re both pretty hooked. It’s actually hella fun. I lost, but I feel like that was mostly because I played Elves and they’re a technical army, as opposed to my brother’s basic bitch Mordor Orcs horde. I’m only a little salty lol.
