Update/Preview 64

Have another look at the Annapocryphal. This is a brief glimpse of the wedding, hope it psychs y’all up for it.

I haven’t really got much to say that I didn’t already say in the vlog yesterday. Work has begun on SI!Dark and the Self Headsert chapters. Annapocryphal is probably a quarter done already. Blazing Trinity ch9 is sitting on the back burner for now, but I am pretty keen to get back to it. That’s really about it.

I took last night off work (I might just take tonight off, too), so I’ve been alternating watching documentaries about retro video game consoles on YouTube and playing Shining Resonance Refrain. To give you an idea of how tired I am because I can’t sleep with my back like this, I racked up ten hours of Shining Resonance and watched four hours of docos. I am exhausted, but can’t get comfortable, and I really don’t want to just drug myself (you don’t get decent rest that way). TLDR; I suffer. Bleh. Mad fucked up how they actually found that Atari ET game trove encased in concrete out in the desert, though. Now if only we could track down real Polybius cabinets, too... lol

I also just found out there’s gonna be a fourth Streets of Rage game, and I am 100% keen. I loved the originals, and I played the ever-loving crap out of the one on the Genesis Mini console. It’s just a side scrolling beat-em-up, but with nostalgia!

And that’s really all I’ve done in the last 24 hours.

These updates always tend to feel short after a vlog.

Oh well! I’ll be back to normal in a few days, so hopefully I can get some substantial writing done. I’m gonna go make a coffee, because if I fall asleep in my chair again I’m just gonna make things worse. Orz.
