Anyone else rewatching in preparation for the cottage 🥹? Also, Ilya didn’t contact Shane for six months after they had sex for the first time bc it wasn’t just sex, they made love. That horrified Ilya bc he has an abandonment complex and thinks he’s unlovable bc of his family/thinks Shane will leave him once Ilya shows his true feelings. But like Ilya said in ep 5, it’s always been Shane and no one else for him. In the book he actually freaks out in the bathroom & shows up last minute before the present the award from ep 2 bc of all this.
