2025-10-24 16:28:07 +0000 UTCThe sad thing is the games will always continue because just like the government, there is always a replacement, and usually they have been trained by the previous leader so it never stops. The only other movie that made me ugly cry is Monsters Inc., and that was just the ending scene. Since, like at the 20-25 min mark, I was crying, and the emotions just grew. As soon as I was done with this movie, I bought it, because it's great.

Watching it today and I never seen the movie so it's both our first time watching and let me just say I'm so glad I watched it along with you. If I had watched this alone I would be so depressed for days. I also get emotional when I watch movies too. I'm so glad I subscribed to your Patreon, and I hope you keep taking care of yourself too. I loved this reaction. You and Zzavid are keeping me sane through theses crazy times.

I feel like dystopia and apocalyptic movies love showing the more cynical side of human nature where people are just willing to trample over each other to survive. And while stories like that are good and valid, I personally always find it more poignant to see that people can still be good and kind to one another in a broken or dying world. And the fact that itβs all men too, I love it when male friendships/relationships get to be this intimate and vulnerable.
