Tier Changes and Back Pain.

Firstly, I’ve injured my lower back which means I’m out of action (I can’t stay sat in a chair for longer than a few minutes) for however long it takes to heal. It could be anywhere from a couple of days to a couple of weeks. Right now it’s pretty bad, but I’ve suffered with it before and on occasions it’s suddenly healed, almost overnight. Just letting you know that in case there aren’t any more uploads after the 2 reactions I have waiting to be edited/uploaded this month. I’ll make up for it next month, if it comes to that.

So I’ve been thinking recently about how many episodes there are in pretty much all shows I’m currently reacting to, and how often I’ll have enough time to do 4+ per month of Buffy and Superstore, as well as potentially scheduling in reactions to Angel (something I’m still not yet sure I’ll do). I’ve been deliberately uploading at a rate of more than 1/week to get us ahead of the YouTube uploads, which wasn’t something I’d planned to keep doing.

I think the best idea would be to create a brand new tier at $2, which, from next month onwards, will be where you can access all future reactions to shows I do more than 1/month of. Those will include Buffy, Superstore, and potentially Angel (if I decide to do it).

It should work out cheaper overall, as I’ll still try and do at least 2 episodes of Buffy and at least 3 of Superstore (an extra Superstore reaction as it’s half the length of Buffy). 

There will likely be some months where I can do more, so it should average out to slightly more than 2 Buffy episodes and slightly more than 3 Superstore episodes. I may even do more during the first 2-3 months at the new tier just to get us even further ahead of YouTube, so you may not notice a difference in the frequency of uploads for a little while.

Anyway, hopefully this works out better for everyone. I’ve already created the brand new tier so be sure to switch over to that before the start of next month. All reactions to Buffy and Superstore, completed up to now, will remain at their current tiers (the $3 & $5 tiers), and obviously all future reactions to the aforementioned shows will also be accessible at those higher tiers.

I did think about putting them all into the $1 tier but then I remembered that I already have shows in that tier which I’m currently doing at a rate of only 1/month. It wouldn’t be fair to do more reactions to certain shows than others if they’re in the same tier.
