Buffy the Vampire Slayer FULL REACTION | S1 EP1

From episode 3 onwards, I'm using the original format of the show, of which I'll provide a link for you to access the video I used for each epsiode.

I watched this episode on Disney+. If you don't have a subscription there then hopefully you won't have any issues syncing your episode with mine. I play the first few seconds of video/audio to help. The most accurate way is probably to watch my eyes change direction with each camera shot change.

Well, that was a really strong opening episode to this show. I already like Buffy: feisty, cocky etc. Willow seems really sweet (I'm guessing they're going to possibly team up?). Lots of intrigue too, with the king vampire guy, and the librarian - looks like something big is going down in that town!

I didn't mention in during the reaction - because the scenes were dark and there were lights shining in my eyes - but the makeup/prosthetics (?) was really, really good! During the edit I could finally properly see it, and I was really impressed!

I'm still confused about the way the whole 'becoming a vampire' thing works; you have to suck the vampire's blood? that's kinda unique. I wonder if it's a choice a victim has to make - to either die, or live out the rest of their days as Dracula? I guess we'll find out in a future episode.
