Suggest a Brand New Show (or shows) for Me to React to.

Hi everyone!

As I’m coming to the end of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend (sad face), I thought I’d ask for some input from you with regards to starting some brand new shows! I’m going to have more time to do these than I’ve had this year so I might try doing a number of them.

These two are definites:

• Buffy the Vampire Slayer
• It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia (continuing from where I left off)

These are likely (because I’m interested in doing them for YouTube):

• Charmed - It looks like it might be a supernatural show, so it might be a good one to try out alongside Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
• Parks and Recreation - I’ve been aware of the existence of this show for a while now but I never got around to trying it out.
• The Office  (I’m a HUGE fan of the UK original)
• Dr Who* - I’ve done 2 episodes, which I can post on here.
• What We Do in the Shadows - Looks like a horror, which I’ve never tried for a reaction before.

*I’ll likely do at least the first full season of Dr Who as, judging by the 2 episodes I’ve done, I think I’ll really enjoy it.

All shows apart from It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia will be on trial initially, to see if I like them. After that, I’ll see which have the most interest from patrons/YouTube, and how many I think I can make time for.

I have the following in mind as possibles :

• The Good Place - I’ve already reacted to the pilot. Again, I’ll post it on here.
• Rick & Morty - I think it’s sciencey? which I’ll probably like.
• Battlestar Galactica - I noticed it recently on BBC Iplayer, and I’ve known of its existence for a long time.

If you could LMK if you have any others which you’d like to see me react to, that would be really helpful. You can put forward as many as you like. If there’s a show that’s suggested by more than one person I’ll definitely try out at least the pilot episode. That doesn’t mean I won’t consider anything else - if it peaks my interest I might give it a shot.

One other thing, I’m planning to increase the minimum pledge fee to $3.00 (for 20-30 minute shows), and $5 (for ALL shows & movies of any duration). I just won’t be able to justify spending so much time doing so many shows at $1/month.

Not that $3-$5/month is anything huge, but I’ll be quitting something else that makes a little side money in order to do this, so I’d like to recoup at least some of that if I can. If I were one of those reactors who gets hundreds of patrons and 10s of thousands of YouTube views, I could continue to do it for $1, as I’m not, this is something I’m going to need to do. If it turns out there’s little interest on here (and on YouTube) for certain shows, and therefore I only end up doing 1 or 2, then I’ll reduce it back down to the original tiers of $1 and $1.50, as it’ll mean a greatly reduced time investment.

ALL reactions already posted will stay at the $1 level (including the first season of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia & Killing Eve S1-2, which I have yet to finish), so if you’ve just recently joined for Crazy Ex-Girlfriend (or one of the other shows) and you still have lots of episodes left, don’t worry, they will still be accessible at the original tier.

We’ll see how I get on with taking on more reactions, but I’m going to make a real effort (we’ll see if it’s doable) to post an average of at least 1 reaction/week of each show I’m doing. This might sometimes mean there’s no reaction for a couple of weeks (or more). But those of you who’ve been with me for a while know how I operate by now, and you’ll know there'll be some months where I’m able to put out more than one/week.

Nothing is set in stone as yet. I’ll need to figure out what I can and can’t do, but your input will help a great deal.
