Apology Message and Discussion
Added 2025-03-11 16:51:27 +0000 UTCDear Readers,
I’m so sorry for the inconsistent posting schedule. Lately, I’ve been dealing with some family obligations and issues due to which my mind has become very agitated. It has made it a little difficult to focus on writing the scenes.
Rest assured, I have the scenes outlined — I just need to put them into words.
However, the stress has been making it hard for me to sit down and write. And I feel terrible for missing two days in a row — especially when I was so close to reaching 25 advanced chapters.
It’s frustrating not to hit that milestone despite my best efforts over the past month.
But I’m doing my best. Thank you so much for sticking around even through this botchy schedule. I appreciate it very much.
P.S - How many of you have read Manhwas like Nano Machine, Eleceed, Tower of God, Solo Leveling, Teenage Mercenary, and more? Also, which other similar LitRPG, Progression Fantasy, Isekai, or Cultivation stories do you enjoy reading on RoyalRoad or Amazon?
List your favs in the comments. I’m interested to know about such stuff :) Perhaps we can hold a poll or discuss this subject later?
Sincerely,
Senseofbeing

Yeah, Asura is where I read a lot of them, though there's a few others that I use. Asura is one of the longest running and most stable. I'll check those ones out

2025-03-15 05:02:01 +0000 UTCI've read Keiran, The Grand Game, The Jade Phoenix Saga, Cradle, and Unintended Cultivator. Familiar with most of the other works you've mentioned. Currently, I'm in love with The Last Life series by Alexey Osadchuk. It's not LitRPG. But I really like the MC and worldbuilding.

2025-03-13 19:18:35 +0000 UTCThank you for your support! I'm familiar with all the classics but haven't read them yet :) Weird, I know, for an author who is writing a cultivation novel!

2025-03-13 19:17:38 +0000 UTCWow. that is a long list, my friend! I really like Path to Transcendence. Haven't read the rest yet. For manwa - I have a lot in common with your selections. Do you read at Asurascans? Based on your reads, I think you would like - The Regressed Mercenary's Machinations, Gosu, Teenage Mercenary, and Eleceed.

2025-03-13 19:12:26 +0000 UTCYep, Defiance of the Fall is best for progression, I read it up to chapter 600, I think, and was addicted to it at some point. You are correct - I always feel better after writing the next chapter!

2025-03-13 19:05:40 +0000 UTCI'm glad to learn you are enjoying the story :) I'm thoroughly enjoying the adaptation of Solo Leveling. Thrilled for next week's episode.

2025-03-13 19:00:49 +0000 UTCYep, Cradle is thoroughly enjoyable, especially from book 3 onwards. I still remember the book 5 finale. It was so unpredictable that I got chills. Haven't read the divine apostasy series although I'm aware of it.

2025-03-13 18:56:32 +0000 UTCThere are many great works and even more garbage unfortunately. Here are some which might be worth your time: Rift Warden Academy by Craig Hamilton (only KU), Keiran by EmergencyComplaints (other works by this author are not bad either). Dawn of the Density God by ToraAKR. The Grand Game by Tom Elliot. Greymantle Chronicles by J David Baxter (KU). The Jade Phoenix Saga by D. I. Freed. Cradle by Will Wight (KU). Warformed: Stormweaver by Bryce O'Connor (KU). Paranoid Mage by InadvisablyCompelled. Sapiens by Persimmon. Spire Dweller by Stephabeni. The Bell Tolls for Me by Nemorosis (this one is new but high quality so far). Unintended Cultivator by Eric Dontingney. A Touch of Power by Jay Boyce (KU).

2025-03-12 16:40:42 +0000 UTCI don't know any of the stories you mentioned. I will look them up later. I do hope you are doing well. Please take the mental break and be ok with it. Sometime letting your mind settle and step away from self-induced stress will let you broach it with a better view and easier action.

2025-03-12 06:56:06 +0000 UTCNo worries on posting! Better quality than quantity any day. For Wuxia, Painting the mists series by Patrick laplante. I was a beta reader when he started writing that series. The classics; I Shall Seal The Heavens and other similar Er Gen translated novels. Coiling Dragon series. Similar to the above, both very long but incredibly well written classic Wuxia. Litrpg; The New World by Monsoon117 is a story I've been following almost since the initial release a few years ago. Path of Ascension by C_Mantis I've read dozens, if not hundreds of others over the years that I either finished, stopped mid-story, or the stories themselves were discontinued.

2025-03-11 23:20:17 +0000 UTCNovels------- Path to Transcendence, The Undying Immortal System, Low Fantasy Occultist Isekai, The Glorious Revolution and this story are ones I've loved enough to support here on Patreon. Cultivating Chai, This Junior Sister is a bit Introverted, Farmer Mage, Dao of Cooking, Regressed Master: Raising the son of heaven isn't easy, Immortality Starts With Diligence, Calculating Cultivation are all ones I've gotten into at some point, some I'm still caught up, some have finished, some I'm behind. Manh_a---- Nano Machine, Solo leveling (anime too, but haven't touched Ragnarok stuff), Murim Login, Apotheosis and Martial Peak of course, Log Into the Future, Top Tier Providence, Global Martial Arts, I'm the Great Immortal, Bad Born Blood, Tales of Gods and Demons, Art of Reincarnation, Infinite Mage, Your Talent is Mine, Greatest Estate Developer, My Disciples Are All Big Villains, Heavenly Grand Archive Master, Chronicles of the martial god's return, The Hero Returns, Star Instructor Master Baek, Return of the Crazy Demon, SSS class suicide hunter, worthless regression, Chronicles of the demon faction, wandering warrior of wudang, reincarnated as a legendary surgeon, reborn as the heavenly demon, infinite level up in Murim, the masters are watching over me, warrior grandpa and supreme granddaughter, return of the disaster class hero, all ones that I'm staying up on right now. I have plenty to read and your chapters are happy surprises sprinkled whenever you get the chance, so I hope you give yourself grace.

2025-03-11 21:34:46 +0000 UTC1. Defiance of the fall (cultivation, litrpg, and scifi) for best plot and progression. 2. He who fights monsters for best dialogue and action. 3. Dungeon crawler Carl for Best humor and under dog story 4. Cradle for amazing story 5. A thousand li for best traditional cultivation. 6. Beware of chicken for most enjoyable to read/ slice of life. 7. Dungeon born (dungeon perspective) for most entertaining passive perspective. 8. Hell difficulty tutorial for most interesting/developed characters. And you'll be fine by taking small breaks. You will reach your goals just gotta chug away at it. Remember motivation comes from doing, not thinking.

2025-03-11 19:38:32 +0000 UTCI'm sorry you're having a rough time. While some people may be angry i believe we all understand and can sympathise, but communication like this post is key. I am really enjoying this story and my time in it. from your list, i have read Tower of God, and Solo Leveling(animes for both as well). As for other LitRPGs, my top 3 are Path of Ascension by C. Mantis, Runeblade by Bacon Macleod, and Path of Dragons by NRSearcy

2025-03-11 16:59:08 +0000 UTCAs far as just general cultivation stories that are a cut above, I would say cradle is definitely. The number one spot followed closely by divine apostasy
