Did you think that's all you were going to get for my birthday? Think again! I love my patrons too much to give them only one class so check out the Reforged, a fantasy take on cyborgs and the daring inventors who incorporate experimental augmentations into their own body. Linked in this and the vampyr class is a form where you can give feedback on each class after you've had the chance to digest them. I'll be using the feedback to improve the classes, of course, but also to decide which one or ones to proceed with.

Yes, Mobile Beam Cannon and Elemental Saber Extrusion are both normal weapons. I probably ought to do something to clarify that...hmm. I didn't specifically set out to make an exception but depending on how the class shapes up, I could see the Reforged getting shield proficiency. Glad you like the surprise classes!

Are the Mobile Beam Cannon & Elemental Saber Extrusion meant to use your Augment Attack modifier or meant to be used as normal weapons with the respective physical stats? Also, are they meant to be proficient in shields, or is this an exception to the rule that medium armor proficiency usually comes with shield proficiency? Thanks in advance, you're doing great work here, and I've really enjoyed reading through these classes! :)

2022-04-07 03:31:58 +0000 UTCYes, it is intentional that you can swap out surges augments for new ones you can surge. It's all balanced cause you are losing those other passives and having to respec, sometimes blindly.

2022-04-06 20:32:56 +0000 UTCQuick clarification question on this one (if this is the best place to do that) - how does Hot Swap interact with surging? From how it's written right now, it sounds like if you surge and then Hot Swap, you can then surge with the new ones as well? So you get more surges per day if you Hot Swap. Just wondering if that's how you intend, or if it should be limited (either "You can only surge as many times as the number of augments you have installed" or "If you Hot Swap an augment that has already surged, you cannot surge the new one." which each have different impacts.) Balance-wise, you would know better than me, but reading it over it did occur to me that seems like something others might wonder about the intent as well. As an aside, all 3 are awesome!! Hopefully I'll get a chance to try one of them in practice soon, but then I'd have to figure out which one!
