Yunho is the one who picks up choreography the fastest and is the most technically accurate. One thing I love about ATEEZ is that KQ gives them some freedom to express their dance in their own styles while still being cohesive. There are some side by sides of a few of them dancing their parts to Guerrilla, and they feel very different, even though they are doing the same thing. San is a wild man when he dances, Yunho does the exact choreography.

For me, it’s like the hyunjin and leeknow situation. Hyunjin and San are moving a lot which is pulling people in and more magnetic to watch while Yunho and leeknow aren’t doing unnecessary moves keeping everything sharp, clean exactly as taught. (I don’t want some crazy fan coming at me please it’s just an opinion)

2026-01-17 22:46:54 +0000 UTCBefore they even debuted, Yunho had been picked to do a training class with Sean Lew, a pretty famous choreographer, at a place in California. He's always been really focused on clean lines and precise movements. You can find him frequently in their log books, going over the dance replays during practice, making suggestions on how to improve sightlines for when they are all on stage, like where people would stand so everyone is visible. Everyone has said it, but at 6'1, he is so graceful. He takes a lot of pride in his footwork and his ability to pick up dances very quickly.

2026-01-17 15:22:49 +0000 UTCYunho's dancing is so clean, sharp and controlled. Truly impressive. I noticed that especially in the 'Slide to Me' mv. Seeing Yunho's fancams in sort of chronological order also shows how much he's improved over the years. I don't recall him talking about a dance background aside from him learningthe members' choreo and helping them learn the choreo for each song. He also apparently learns dances very quickly. Mingi has mentioned his dad being a dancer and he learned from his dad. Mingi's also a main dancer and has the opposite style of Yunho, which is moving like water and being freestyle rather than technical. Apparently Mingi and Yunho fight a lot when it comes to dancing. They said it themselves. Also, I'm actually curious if Yunho helps teach Xikers their choreo because I've seen him dancing to Xikers songs, and he does their dances with ease and seems to know the choreo really well

When Ateez does dance challenges and you see everyone’s submissions and go see how hard ppl work to gets those moves in 10-30 seconds, it’s amazing to me how Ateez makes something super hard and complex look so easy. He’s been singing an dancing since he was a little kid, but I think it was middle school when he joined an academy to prep for arts high school exams

He does make it look easy, he is also the quickest at picking up the choreo and will help teach the other members. I can't remember his dance background. I'm sorry. It would be good if you could check out all the members fancams when you have time that is
