Sound FX and Voice Integration

Just FYI.. I'm finding that in many cases now, as I'm adding voice support for the entire VN, where I have sound FX and voice tracks, that it makes sense to combine them into a single voice track instead of keeping them separate. This only matters for those who want to mute the voices and just read the dialogue on screen. If you do that you'll end up missing many of the sound effects. The reason is that now that voice is added I'm finding many situations where timing of FX sounds is linked to dialogue, and rather than trying to add a coded-in delay to sync up the FX and voice track or say, 3 or 3.5 seconds of dead space to the start of the FX file so the FX sound happens at just the right moment, it's much, much easier to just combine the FX into the voice track so the sounds make sense.

As an example, imagine the scene where Kerren is "running the table" when she plays the MC in pool, and calls out every shot. Her voice track has to sync up with the cue ball strike for that to work. otherwise she could say "three ball in the corner" AFTER it sounds like the balls have already stopped moving.
