Nothing painted yellow ever looks good...
Added 2024-02-27 18:36:28 +0000 UTCPainting Super Tails is more of a challenge than Super Knuckles. The Ochre yellow that I prefer to use is too dark for his super form, so I have to use my lemon yellow which takes like 3 coats to have a solid covering

I assure you it does not look green at all in person, in fact I painted it the darker shade of yellow first and put this on top just to make sure the figure's native color didn't bleed through. I guess the green tint must come from the fact that I took these photos on my blue bedsheets and that color is reflecting in the flash.
