Added Chopper designs to the Fusion shares

Added 'Ultimate Chopper' to the list of Fusion source files.

The Fusion files are excellent for reference, customisation and to help with building and learning. I'm happy to share all the design with dedicated Patreons just ask.

All the files are also excellent reference for building the model really help assembly.

Any other requests for the fusion designs just shout! Please share any remixes or remodels with the fabulous R2 Builders community.

All files are free to do whatever you want to with (except selling or making money from them, as many Bothans died to bring us this information!).

The password for all these are mrbaddeley as always.

Hello Michael, were can I find the Fusion foot drive files for Chopper? I don't see the drives inside the foot shells within the Chopper Body files

Dan Thompson

There are 200mm bed cut dome files in the main astromech folder. I think under V2

Hello, I’m new to this as well. I tried downloading the R2D2 dome files first and they are in one piece. How does everyone separate the parts. I use simplify 3D and it crashes my computer when I try to separate the connected surfaces. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

any chance you will be doing a chopper body for larger printers ( not segmented as much? )

Hi, I'm totally new on this side, but is it possible, to download a model (e.g. BD-1) divided in all parts? Every time I wnat to download it as a STL, it just downloads all parts combined/assembled together.

Kabelinho

For the Dome, either work. They’re all pretty much the same base design so when painted / finished will give the same results.

The Robert Jackson is the latest. They’re all fine but this has a very minor tweak for accuracy.

Michael Baddeley

At the moment there are 4 fusion files for the body: - Body R2 MKIII 2nd Release - Fixed rear panel - Robert Jackson - Body R2 MKIII 2nd Release - Body R2 MKIII Back Door - Body Which one is the most recent and recommended for printing right now, Michael? And another Question: Do you recommend printing the dome of the corresponding body file or the dedicated "R2Dome One Print open Panel" file?

It was quite hard, as I wanted to correct it, but also wanted to keep exactly to the show model.

Michael Baddeley

Is it slanted, correct, this is from the mesh model / show references. There’s quite a few parts which aren’t exactly square or at perfect gaps. I’ve kept exact to the show. The practical model was straight, whereas the show one slightly off, so I went with the show.

Michael Baddeley

The ladder light in the Chopper models is slanted. At first I thought this might be a bit of movie magic, in that it might look more correct from the front if the light isn't straight, and they cheat in the actual show, but this is not the case. In references from both the show and the practical model built at LucasFilm, the light is straight. Is there a reason for the difference?
