D-O v1 released & Fusion Files

The D-O v1 folder is now in the Patreon Share with all the STLs. I'll put together instructions /overview hopefully soon. In the meanwhile the Fusion share is a great reference for assembly as well as those wishing to tweak & change or customise the design!

I've added the R5 dome and the new rear panel MKIII design, again for all those wishing to either customise or use the 3d files as reference

Any other requests for the fusion designs just shout! Please share any remixes or remodels with the fabulous R2 Builders community.

All files are free to do whatever you want to with (except selling or making money from them, as many Bothans died to bring us this information!).

The password for all these are mrbaddeley as always.

Comments

The Ninjatek is literally a servo arm, rather than sqeeze a pin and rod in, I just use a flexible jointed arm for the servo.

Michael Baddeley

thanks for your amazing work. I have a question about the nodbar. what is the reason the ninjatek flexible part is used? is that like a suspension for the head?

C.PZO

No worries, it is an evolving model so may be a little lag. Finally published v1 with the design that works, not perfect but works well. I’ve put together the start of the instructions and republished the latest cad which I suspect will help.

Michael Baddeley

Thank you Michael. I've already printed everything off, and now trying to put him together using the Fusion exploded view - but that is showing me parts that there do not seem to be STL's for. I've posted a pic in the Community section. Sorry if I'm jst being dumb and have missed something...

The STLs are in the D-Ov1 folder in the Patreob share.

Michael Baddeley

Are all the D-O parts in there? I see a simple grommet in the Fusion exploded view, but cannot find the STL.
