So, I may have had a mistake during the making this piece, and upon completion of the original flat colours, realized - ah. This art is supposed to be a full render, not a regularly coloured piece. OOPS. So, after rectifying this and restarting at the lineart stage, I've included the other version for some fun comparison!!
My full render style looks best when fully shaded, since it's very clean and detailed (and made to shine in the shading stage). But my regular coloured looks really nice in the line and base stage, since the linework is doing most of the heavy lifting in that style.
Does that make sense? Either way, hope it's fun to look at :D
