First ever bug transformation journal!! Woooo. I'm so glad it was a mantis, I love those little guys.
As much as I've been used to drawing bugs, or bug-like adjacent, actually having the opportunity to research and learn about them a little more taught me so much. There's so many unique details to the little world of insects.
Hope you guys think they are as cute as I do! Hahaha. <3
