News | 2023 Tier Update

Hello friends! Happy holidays!

As the year is coming to a close, I've been thinking about the structure of our tiers. I still consider myself a relatively new artist online, as far as managing a Patreon and taking commissions etc goes! I can't believe I only started this all in what... 2019? Wow. It feels like a lifetime ago.

That said, with lack of experience comes with a lot of learning and figuring what works for me. Over the years, I've experimented with various benefits on this Patreon, some quite successful, and others I got way in over my head with (how many of you remember when I had a tier exclusively for monthly TF headshots? Phew.) Of course, most of my testing ground was the $2 pup tier, which has since exceeded what I had initially had in mind for the entry level tier. ...I just kept adding to it!

♥ Very important: ♥ Before we get into the changes I've got planned, I want to emphasize that I'll be enacting grandfathered benefits for those who got into the $2 tier early. Meaning, if you are already subbed at the $2 "Pup" tier, you keep your 2022 and earlier benefits. The changes in this post is more relevant for future patrons, but I like to keep y'all in the loop anyway!

Overall, the aim of these changes is to help me lean into this patreon better as time marches on, giving me the ability to create more meaningful and cohesive posts by merging similar benefits together and resolving the problem of the tiers being 'bottom loaded'. The chimera tier always felt like the odd one out, you know? A big bonus of this, is I'll be able to test shifting a little more away from commission work, to create some independent, long-format comics - an idea I've been musing over for the better part of 2 years! (Those are finally in the workshop! Stay tuned later this year :D  )

It's like our patreon is undergoing a little transformation of its own! (Haha... ha.)

Without further adieu, here are the plans I've workshopped. Changes in bold:

$2/Pup tier:

• Early access to art.

• Bonus art/ALTs.

• Access to the Discord server.

• Free access to my Pay-what-you-want comic archive. Moving to $5 (Chimera) tier. *This benefit will remain if you started supporting before Jan 2023.

• Access to WIPs ---> Moving to $5 (Chimera) tier. *This benefit will remain if you started supporting before Jan 2023. [Discord WIP channel to become an archive.]

• Receive the sketch versions of my art & sequences at the end of each month. --> Moving to $5 (Chimera tier). *This benefit will remain if you started supporting before Jan 2023.

• Ability to suggest ideas/characters for my warmups. --> Moving to $10 (Packleader) tier. This benefit will not be grandfathered.

• Flash commission openings. These are first come first served, and usually cover a specific topic that I've been itching to draw. Openings are random, not monthly, and do not include sequence/comic commissions. --> [REMOVED Due to infrequency and no way to accommodate more than a few patrons a year]. Notifications for general upcoming commission openings and YCHs are still available via the discord server.

$5/Chimera tier

♥ [ADDED/COMING MID-2023]: Premium early access (2 months early) to ongoing, experimental, 15+ page transformation comics.

• [ADDED] Access to WIPs.

• End of month art pack. This includes all art at MAX resolution, sketch versions, and working files (PSD format).

• All previous rewards!

$10/Packleader tier

• Access to "Transformation Observations and Studies" digital mini-booklets. New one every month! Explore a transformation in depth with me. Perfect for both TF enthusiasts and as a TF artist reference. Patrons play a large role in suggesting & voting for which transformations we cover.

• [ADDED] Ability to suggest ideas or characters (including your OCs) for my warmups.

• All previous rewards!

These changes will take effect on Jan 1, 2023. Overall, this is a very exciting, and equally nerve-racking announcement to make. I hope I can give you all exciting TF stories in the year to come ^^
